A global online science festival
for displaced students and their teachers!

April-May 2025Soft deadline: March 31st for your team's video, yet you can join any time in sping 2025!

Join the science fair without borders!

Refugee and displaced students experience interrupted education, are often excluded from schools in hosting countries and have few opportunities of attending science classes.

Science United Project organizes for the 4th year the Science United Festival, an online science festival for students from 5 to 18 years old with refugee/immigrant or Roma background, their classmates and their teachers.

The Science United Festival provides an online science fair for displaced students and their teachers to share science projects with a global community and receive encouragement and feedback from refugee scientist mentors to help foster a love for science, grow scientific literacy, and spark interest in science as a potential future career.

Under the guidance of their teachers, student teams produce and share videos of their science projects on the Science United Festival website, get inspired by other teams’ videos, exchange positive comments and receive encouraging feedback from mentoring scientists who are themselves refugees. Everyone receives a certificate of participation!
