Self Inflating Balloon

by Science Crew 3

Description :

The Science Crew 3 team participates in the Science United Festival for the third year in a row, presenting another fantastic experiment.

This time the main character is the chemical reaction caused by the combination of vinegar and baking soda.

Their goal? To inflate a balloon.

Everyone is observing the experiment while the balloon is getting bigger.

Amazing work!

Keep up guys 🙂

Hello everybody 😎😎 We are the “Science Crew 3” from Larissa. Do you know us? This is the third time that we participate at the festival. We are excited😀😀. Now we will show you an amazing experiment. We hope you will like it as much as we did 👍👍👍

For this experiment you will need:
•     Fill the bottle with about ¼ of the vinegar
•     Using the funnel, add 1-2 tablespoons of baking soda to the balloon
•     Fix the balloon to the mouth of the bottle, ensuring that the soda has not yet fallen into the vinegar
•     When you are ready, lift the balloon so that the soda falls into the vinegar
•     You will see that a chemical reaction starts that produces carbon dioxide, which will inflate the balloon

Such a captivating experiment! The Science Crew 3 team has once again presented a fantastic project. We were so intrigued by your balloon inflation demonstration that we replicated it in our own classroom. Congratulations!

Great job guys. It is awesome that you keep on participating year after year, and always with such cool experiments.
I was a bit dissapointed that the ballon didn't explode. Use much much more vinegar next time ;) hahahaha
Keep up the good work!

Nice work Science Crew 3! Vinegar and Baking soda combination experiments are one of my favorites to watch and you all did not disappoint one bit. It is amazing to see how science can help us in something as simple as inflating a balloon to complex tasks like sending someone to space. I enjoyed your video thoroughly and wish all the best for your future.
