“You decide your own future, believe in yourself, and never hesitate to take the long path to reach your goals. Be patient, be brave, and be kind.”

When I was 7 years old, in 1998, my family moved from Kirkuk to Erbil to escape the former regime. Being in a new city with no friends or relatives, I was left alone to play with my imagination; solving puzzles, watching cartoons, and playing video games.
I graduated from mechanical engineering in 2014 and I wanted to continue my education abroad but lacked the financial capabilities to do so. Therefore, I decided to work and save money until I am able to achieve my goals. I worked for 5 years in different jobs until in 2019, when I applied to Germany and was accepted.
I started learning the German language for 12 months and then started my master’s course in Automation Engineering.
