Description :
The Anatomy Vocabulary Experts leveraged their team’s rich cultural background to learn biological terms in Greek, English and Ukrainian. They developed a vocabulary with structures such as red blood cells, spermatozoa, veins and arteries. Biology can be a common language and we believe it is admirable to overcome the language barrier through science. We salute this amazing collaboration and cooperative learning. You truly caught the spirit of Science United Festival and learned with each other and from each other!
Hello, we’re the Anatomy Vocabulary Experts. We come from the 6th high school in New Smyrni. In biology class we created a vocabulary with basic biology terms in Greek, English and Ukrainian. Through the creation of this dictionary we aimed to interact with the new student of the class who came from Ukraine. Together we learned to pronounce and write in Ukrainian words such as sperm cells, red blood cells, vein and artery. Come and learn with us!
