Description :
The “Games”, a team of eager young scientists, dove into the world of static electricity with straws and different types of cloth. Their focused rubbing and delighted gasps as straws attracted and repelled showcased fantastic engagement. They collaborated beautifully, sharing observations and demonstrating genuine scientific curiosity. The “Games” team proved that exciting discoveries can be made with simple materials. Their enthusiasm and team work are truly praiseworthy!
Congratulations!
We are 20 students from a primary school in Greece . Our ages range from 6 to 13 years old.Our team is called “Games”.We are participating in the festival because we enjoy experiments and find them fun ,just like video games. In this project ,we made an intoduction to static electricity.

What an engaging and well-executed exploration of static electricity, 'Games' team! My students were so impressed by your hands-on approach that they tried to replicate your experiment. Seeing the straws and balloons attract the paper with such visible force was a real 'wow' moment for them. They also managed to successfully have the straw sticking to the wall but not the balloon.

Hey Team Games! First of all I enjoy video games too! Secondly and most importantly, I enjoyed watching you experiment from start to finish! Amazing how physics work! Sometimes like magic!
