Description :
The Menemeni Exoskeleton Engineers and Ms. Nena really surprised us with their amazing tech project! Studying the mechanics behind the exoskeleton, a wearable device that protects workers and engineers in industrial environments, they managed to recreate a functional Exo-Arm. By transferring motion to a dimmer, the Menemeni Exoskeleton Engineers have made it possible to show that when the arm is too stretched, thanks to a red light becoming very bright, notifying the user that they must be careful! Menemeni Exoskeleton Engineers have demonstrated their work at Science United Project’s exhibit in the 2024 Athens Science Festival! Congratulations Menemeni Exoskeleton Engineers!
Hello! We are the Menemeni Exoskeleton Engineers, a team of 8 students from the A2 high school class at the 3rd Menemeni High School. We started to study about robots and technology, and we wanted to create something that would excite us and make us interact in a playful way. Just like that, the idea for the exoskeleton was born! Following the instructions of a video from www.curiositymachine.org. and we were able to build two complete exoskeletons! One had a LED light that glowed with our every move, while the other had a buzzer that made funny sounds. Building the exoskeleton was an exciting experience! We worked together perfectly, learned new things, and had a lot of laughs.
