Description :
The team of “Little Scientists” built their very own elevator! They carefully crafted it and learn how things move up and down. They discovered the magic of energy – how things have stored power ( potential energy) and how that power turns into movement (kinetic energy) when the elevator gows up or down.
You should be very proud of your hard work and discoveries!
We are the little scientists and as such we were looking for a long time what experiment, what phenomenon we will present to you. We had a particular preference for volcanoes but our teacher insisted that each scientist presents different topics from the other scientists. Our heads were stuck until the teacher could not stand it and presented us with five whole options. In this very simple way we chose to build the elevator with cardboard that lifts everything with a very inspired lever, which Penny’s dad created with great joy. We rallied dads, moms and friends to support us. Dads to help us with the lever, teacher to give us choices, moms to find all the materials, our friend Stella to shoot and make our video, mom to find a way to send the video. Finally, our elevator was built with care and attention but we forgot to put things in to raise. HOWEVER, what is worth it is the LEVER, Penny’s dad was a great inspiration!

Great experiment "Little Scientists" with Big Minds. Thank you for sharing the equation too. It took me back to my physics classes :). It was also wonderful to see you all put together the elevator so meticulously and then use physics to show different forms of energy. You all have amazing futures ahead as scientists. Best Wishes!
