Scientific discoveries are valuable and we agree that there are Science Treasures to be discovered! When we observe something we cannot explain, it might appear to us like magic.🧐 It is our scientific thinking that leads us to explain the phenomenon! The Science Treasure team experimented with static electricity, where electrons are relocated by friction, causing surfaces to have opposite charges. Light objects such as paper ribbons can move unexpectedly, causing a lot of joy! Congratulations Science Treasure team!
SCIENCE Treasure
The Science Treasure team consists entirely of students with a refugee background. As there is a lot of movement, some students left before they could take part in the festival 😢 and some new kids joined along the way 😀. All children, however, are eager to explore and understand the world around them, without losing hope for a better tomorrow! Our team tackled static electricity. A multi-prism and playful approach to the phenomenon was attempted resulting in the enthusiasm of the team members.
