Hovercraft Masters

by White Tower Engineers

Description :

By designing and building a hovercraft, much like real-life engineers the White Tower Engineers experimented with the basic laws off physics.

Using just cd, balloons, tape and caps they constructed incredible vehicles and tried to move them with the power of air.

After many attempts they managed to navigate obstacles and perfect their craft.

This team not only mastered engineering principles but also showcased the joy of exploration and the magic of science, proving that young minds can achieve extraordinary feats with teamwork and ingenuity.

We are a group of 9 kids from Egypt, Syria and Somalia and we chose to create the balloon and air experiment. We had not done anything like this before, but we liked it because it reminded us of our school in our home country.

'White Tower Engineers', your hovercraft project was so inspiring that my students and I decided to replicate it! It was a fantastic hands-on way to explore the basic laws of physics and experience the ingenuity of your design firsthand. Just like your team, we encountered some challenges but persevered, and it was incredibly rewarding when our hovercraft finally moved. Excellent work!

The keyword in this project is experimentation. You started with an idea, created a prototype, failed a couple of times before you finally succeeded. determination in Engineering, Science and life, bravo White Tower Engineers!

Such an original experiment, I've never seen this one before! And it shows very well how real hovercrafts work, though they don't have a big balloon on top I think ;) I'd love to try this myself. Well done en keep up the good work!
