Description :
The Electrons team completed 5 missions. With the help of static electricity, they managed to make pieces of paper fly, separate salt from pepper, move straws and soda cans without touching them, and make water bend. Although their experiments seem more like magic tricks, they aren’t, friction redistributes electrons, creating static electricity, and that’s how we observe these phenomena.
Congratulations to the Electrons team for reminding us that behind every strange thing we observe, there is always a scientific explanation!
We are the “Electrons” team. We are the 5th grade students of the 3rd Primary School of Riza in Zakynthos, in Greece! We come mostly from Greece, but also from Albania. We like science. We like experiments and learning about the human body. We also like working together and with other schools.

What a nice teamwork! And the water trick, actually looks like a magic trick! What else can you do with static electricity? I am so curious! Can you also make balloons stick to walls?? <3

Συγχαρητήρια! Πολύ ωραία τα πειράματα. Θα τα δοκιμάσουμε! Μοιάζουν με αληθινά μαγικά!
Congratulations! Very nice experiments. We will try them too. They look like real magic!
